A-not-for-profit company focussing on educating and empowering vulnerable sectors of society seeks experienced self-starters to function as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
MONITORING AND EVALIUATION OFFICER
Implement monitoring systems and design monitoring tools;
Monitor project activities, outputs and progress towards achieving anticipated results;
Conduct regular visit to project sites to monitor process and gather feedback from project beneficiary communities, and submit a detailed report about the activities.
Compile comprehensive project evaluation reports based on information retrieved from the database and in the field.
Draft project specific M&E plans to be included in grant development.
Coordinate with field staff to obtain field data on each indicator outlined in the project M&E plans at the post-completion visit to the project site.
Identify and document success stories and case studies on extraordinary aspects of the programme/project.
[Conduct broad-based Evaluation Studies on particular assigned grants-related topics in line with decisions taken.
Support the M&E Manager/Supervisor in the collection of additional information from the field, as required.]
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science
Knowledge of MS Office;
Three to four years’ experience in project Monitoring and Evaluation, project development and proposal writing, and implementation of development-type projects.
Experience in community participation and consultative-type projects.
